Master Index Search

    VIA YOUR BROWSER:

You may search the index below for key words by using your browser's built-in "Search" function. This is called up in some browsers by pressing one of the following: "Control-F" (Find), "Control-W" (Where?), or "Control-Q" (Query). Some browsers use `/' (the forward slash) or `F7'. A box or field appears and you may enter the word or terms for which you wish to search. If none of these work, consult your browser's "Help" manual or on-screen "Help" guide.

Once you have found a heading here that interests you, go into the link and then use your browser's "Search" function again to further narrow your search.

    VIA GOOGLE:

A "Search" window will be presented here. Note the following syntax for it:

site:cec.chebucto.org (search term)

The search term may be one or more words, but if more than one word is used and they go together, you should place the words within double quotes. Multiple individual terms may be left unquoted. Although we have filled in the appropriate "CEC" precursory text for you, should you type it in yourself, be sure that the first part has no spaces and that the search terms are separated from that part by a space. Google will then present a series of links to CEC webpages that contain the terms you entered. Once you go into one of the CEC links presented to you by Google, use your browser's Search function, as explained previously, to narrow the field to precisely what you seek.

to Locate CEC Subjects Easily.

Note that you may use the window to do any Internet search by
deleting the CEC text and entering your own. If you need other
Google offerings, click the "Google" logo.

Site Maps

A Graphic Hierarchy Layout (67kb) of the directories at the CEC website may be seen for those wishing to visualise how the site's pages are interconnected. An Enlarged Graphic Hierarchy Layout (149 kb) is given for the sight-impaired or those using a high-resolution browser setting, while there is a Text Hierarchy Layout suitable for those using text browsers or translation software.

Note that not all categories shown on the maps may be actual subdirectories. Some are listed as such for visualisational purposes. Realise too, that not every actual subdirectory is shown because it would make the maps too crowded. However, once in a parent directory which contains subdirectories not shown on the maps, the rest of what is therein will become evident by that page's index. Two examples which have many directories under them are Books and Videos. Both have extensive subdirectories, but logically, they are only related to the subject of the given parent directory and need not be displayed here.

Alphabetical Index

Below are subject headings in alphabetical order. After each is a direct link to page(s) at the CEC website which have the major information on, or outside links to, that subject.

Realise that unless the page to which you link is strictly about the given subject, it may have additional information from that which you seek. In that case, use that page's index or your browser's "Search" function to locate what you want.
