CEDAR POINT: (1988)
"The Queen of American Watering Places"

By David Francis and Diane Francis. From its start as a
picnic park, through its growth as a summer resort, through
its almost being razed for a housing development, to the best
traditional amusement park in The United States, this book
hasa great story of a beach blossoming into one of the
nation's leading outdoor amusement centers. *(Highly
Recommended. There are lots of photos of vintage rides and
great high-angle shots of The Point as it is today. Lots of
behind-the-scenes business goings-on help the reader to
realise what goes into an amusement park as time passes and it
grows. A good description of the various ride changes through
the years is given here with time frames. A 1995 updated
       version is available.)
